The Knowledge Translation Specialist is responsible for providing writing and graphic design support to the ITC Dissemination Manager in the preparation of print and on-line reports, Power Point presentations, and other materials to disseminate scientific data and communicate relevant information resulting from the ITC Project.

Duties include preparing national reports, policy reports, policy briefings, fact sheets, and newsletters for print and for the web. The candidate must have superior writing and editing skills, strong attention to detail, and be familiar graphic design software packages. Previous experience in interpreting statistical data from survey research, scientific charting, and presenting scientific results of data analyses through the creation of high impact reports and presentations for policymakers and stakeholders, is a strong asset.
This position is offered for a one year contract. Extension of the contract beyond the one year period is anticipated, but contingent upon funding.
